Reinventing yourself….. July 8, 2018 by Amber JolaWell, this is a topic I never imagined I would be blogging about. I mean, why would I want to do this? In all reality, it came without me even really knowing it. I went through a period in my life when I was going through a divorce, and I had to put aside my business for awhile. It wasn’t easy and I missed it like crazy, mostly because the people I talked to added so much value to my professional life. I enjoyed talking to them on the phone and learning about them through messages and hearing how they were evolving. I made new friendships that I didn’t have before. Then the days came when I stepped back from my team and handed off the reins to others in my upline. It was a gradual process, I tried to continue as much as I could but it was just too hard. They were amazing and understood where I was coming from and why I had to do this. They supported me in my decisions and always said, “whatever you need, we are here.” This is when you truly realize you are on the right team – a team so giving, they cared about me on a personal level. I knew I had an amazing team, but when they called or messaged just to check on me or even sent me an uplifting message along the way, I felt blessed. My life was a mess, but they would always know how to spin it into a positive. They didn’t need to be there… but they were every step of the way. They are much of the reason why I was able to reinvent myself as well. Their compassion and true genuine friendships is really what brought me back. Was it easy? NO. Did it take a lot of dedication and determination? HELL YES! My leaders showed me the way, they cheered me on when things were going really well, and re-directed me when I fumbled on the way. Just know, even if you hit a lull or a slow spot on the way, you can make a COME BACK. With support, no matter where it’s from, you can get back in the game and make it happen. We all have setbacks in life, and sometimes things just happen and you aren’t in control, but it is possible to turn that around and succeed from it. Believe me when I say, it wasn’t easy, but the outcome was so worth it! So keep your chin up, and know you’re not the only one who has been there, and that YES you are CAPABLE of anything! Tell yourself you can do it and don’t turn back!
